These articles will change the way you achieve your goals...
Let’s get into the number one reason guys struggle to lose weight and keep it off…
Well, there are actually two things. We'll give you one now. It's being able to stick at it. It sounds overly simple we know. But so many don't and can't. Why? This is something we'll get stuck into this throughout our blogs.
But first, have you ever been lied to? Isn't it the worst thing in the world... even if it's a small lie. You know why? Because it makes you feel dumb. We know we're not your parents or your boss, but we've been around the block a few times and we've seen it all in the fitness industry.
We've seen big companies selling products that cause more harm than good, leaving people out of pocket without their dream results
We've seen countless coaches handcuffing their clients to long-term contracts long after they've stopped using their service
And we've witnessed many fitness companies selling aesthetics over health.
Not good.
We fell for our fair share of that crap when we started too. And we almost gave up before we got on a healthy fitness path. So we want to tell you a few things right now we'll never do.
We'll never ask you to spend money on supplements that don't work
In fact, we won't even recommend them. The only time we'll talk about supplements that don't work, Is to warn you away from them.
We'll never make unrealistic claims
Science is science. We stick by it. Sometimes it'll weigh in your favour, sometimes it won't. So accept that fact right now.
We'll never tell you to do anything we haven't done ourselves and haven't seen a result from.
Good or bad - no BS here.
We'll never sugarcoat the truth.
We'll never put aesthetics over your health
Our number 1 focus will always be your health and well-being. However, if you follow the advice we share you'll get impressive results. That being said...
Let us move onto the 3 biggest fitness scams you need to watch out for…
To be clear, these aren't bad some of the time, they're bad all of the time!
Fat Burners
They don't work. It's as simple as that. And unfortunately, they've flooded the market. Why? You don't need approval from the FSA before you start selling supplements. And companies make a tonne of money from it.
85,000 diet supplements on the market and 180 million people spending money on them. You do the math.
People are being sold false promises, people die from this stuff and it's morally wrong. When I was younger, I read fat burners would help me lose weight and reduce food cravings. I was looking for a quick fix but it came at a price.
Dizziness, shaking, headaches, not being able to think straight and spending hours sat on the toilet. It wasn't good. Not to mention the fact I actually wanted to eat more. And when I stepped on the scales, my weight had gone up. Oh the irony.
As much as I can put this down not knowing any better at the time. I get why we try them. Imagine being told you can take a few pills and you're going to burn fat 24/7. I mean, why wouldn't you?
Here's how they hook people in. You come up with a snazzy name "Eight Two Much Burner", (I just made that up)
Then you create an emotional story around some poor guy that - no matter what he tried - couldn't lose weight
Next, you hire a super ripped dude with the personality of a wet fish, who tells you this one pill will get you super lean, and that you can scoff as much cheesy pizza as you like
I bet that's how all the top athletes do it right? No! Logical huh... it's a logical lie.
If that's what you're looking for we're not your guys and you might as well stop reading now. We hate these guys. Why?
They screw over people that could've made their lives better with sustainable fitness approaches like we have
It makes the whole industry we love look really bad
We hate a liar. There we said it. Sorry for the rant
By the way…
Our advice, if you're considering any kind of supplement, is to head over to examine.com. They're an independent nutrition information company. No bias. No BS. Backed by science.
