We understand everybody that comes to us is at different points with their health and fitness. Some are already doing a sport, like park running, road cycling, or mountain biking. Their goal might be to run faster, increase cycling speed or endurance, win more races or even beat the person that’s always ahead of them. Others might be at the start of their journey. They know where they want to get to but they’re not sure how to get there. Whether the goal is to lose weight, build muscle, feel more confident, or even get better at the sport they enjoy doing… what they’ll need will differ from someone else. L6 High Performance Coaching - What Is It?

Lean6 High-Performance Coaching is our bespoke service. We’ll work with you to fully understand and get clarity on what your fitness or sporting goal is. Next, we’ll build a plan that delivers everything you need. We’ll be working directly with you reviewing your progress and making amendments so that you’ve always got the best plan possible. And we’ll be there with you every step of the way, coaching you and keeping you moving forward so that you can get the result you want.

Workout Plan

A training plan that helps a road cyclist increase their speed and endurance so they can win more will be completely different to a training plan that helps runners improve their 5k times. Likewise, someone who has the goal of losing weight will need different exercises, rep ranges and rest times compared to someone who wants to build muscle. The point is that what works for someone else won’t necessarily work for you.

Which is why every programme is built to the specific needs and goals of the client. We make sure whatever your goal is your training programme will fit within your lifestyle so that you can be consistent with your plan. Whichever training environment works best for you whether that is at the gym, home or outdoors we’ll build a plan to suit your needs.

 

Nutrition Plan

Tailored nutrition that is specific to your goal. The most important thing for someone that is looking to lose weight is that they don’t feel hungry and they are still able to enjoy their favourite foods. Their diet will be specific to that. For someone that is looking to build muscle they’ll need a higher protein diet and more carbs and calories to fuel their training, their diet will be tailored to that goal. However, for someone with a sporting goal, like improving running times, their diet needs to support them in recovering quicker, so they can train more often, stay injury-free, and get the right foods into their body so they can run at their peak performance.

Most people that work with us have tried something before without getting the results they want. We’ve found that one of the main problems has been a lack of support. We all hit challenges and bumps in the road on our health and fitness journeys, but having a coach there to work through those challenges is so important for success. By working through a problem together, with someone that’s been through the process themselves, you’ll get to the solution quicker than trying to do it on your own.

Life gets busy and we don’t want to add to that. With our app you can train wherever and whenever you want. When life throws you a curveball you don’t have to miss a training session you can simply move it. If you need help with something you can message us in the app. There are also coaching videos for every exercises. Frequently Asked Questions

What if I’m a complete beginner?

That’s ok. L6 High-Performance Coaching is the best investment a beginner can make. It will reduce the time you spend learning, give you a clear path towards your goal and make sure you don’t encounter the problems most face when they start out on their health and fitness journey.

Do I need to join a gym?

No. Where you train is completely dependant on your goal. But we’ll work with you to come up with a solution that suits where you’d like to train.

What kind of results can I expect with Lean6?

If you follow your plan you’ll get the results you want. You get out what you put in.

How long does this coaching programme last for?

Lean6 High-Performance Coaching is initially 16 weeks. But many clients continue to work with us as they want to carry on progressing.

What if I have a question about something will I be able to reach out to you?

Yes. We’re always available via messages on the app and any bigger topics are dealt with on our 1-1 weekly consult calls.

What is different about your programme vs other coach's plans?

Most coaches tell you what to do. They say do this, do that, and if you don’t like it suck it up. And as soon as you stop working with them you’re back to square one. But here at Lean6, we’ll teach you the how-to rather than the what-to, so that you can get great results, keep them, and become the person you set out to be.

Not only that but we’ve been through the process ourselves and we know this works because we implement everything we say in our own daily lives. We’ll never tell you to do anything we haven’t tried ourselves or haven’t got a result from.

I’ve tried other programmes and didn’t get results, how do I know this will work?

Following our LEAN principles works for our clients and it works for us, so we’re sure this will work for you. There’s no reason why it shouldn't.

I’m older will this still work for me?

Absolutely. Some of our best clients are older.

Can I speak with you 1-1?

Yes, we speak with you once a week anyway as part of L6 High-Performance Coaching, but you can send us a message in the app anytime and we’ll respond.
